It looks different, because it is.
I'm finding a sense of home in Florida by taking classes and meeting new people. It was important to take time off and explore before teaching here. It's allowed me to appreciate the local yoga community and return to simply being a student. It also gave me time to reflect and turn my vision into a new site, http://www.jenniferisaacson.com/. It's beautiful and functional, making booking retreats and classes easier with updated tools and content. I owe the fresh design to Erica Bechard, its incredible images to Kristal Capri Lana and all the love in the testimonials to you. I invite you to my new home and welcome any feedback you have to offer.
Leaving Seattle was hard, but timing our move during hurricane season was a true test. I know I'm not alone, because we're all adapting to unsettling shifts in our world. Information offers a false sense of security because it often leaves us with more questions than answers. Trying to make sense of chaos is exhausting, so turn it off and go outside, take deep breaths, and remember to choose instead of react. When we embody choice, we move with grace and become reminders for others to do the same.
Fall is a perfect demonstration of surrender. Let's follow the cues of the season and let go a little more. I'm very excited to be in Seattle to feel fall's crisp air October 30-November 19. I look forward to seeing you and hearing how you've been.
Love,
Jennifer
