SEATTLE, I'M COMING HOME
My second winter in Florida turned out to be my breaking point. I've bounced back to Seattle so many times since my move in July 2017, never staying away for more than a few months. Seattle is where most of my family and friends are, but there also lives a sincere desire for its streets, air, lakes and mountains. Some unseen force keeps pulling me back like a magnet. The other truth I came to realize by leaving is just how much support I have from the Seattle yoga community and how much I miss you.
I wouldn't trade the experience or valuable lessons from my time here in Jacksonville which is so close, it might as well be Georgia. I'll be forever grateful to have been embraced by a strong yoga community in the south, to have been able to vote in the south, and to have survived hurricanes in the south. Seattle you're not perfect, but you're my home.
Spring is a magnificent time of expansion. I'll be spending mine with an intimate crew of explorers embarking on Ritual House of Yoga's Integrated Yoga Teacher Training, beginning April 24. I was invited to teach and help design content for this 200hr TT with Linnea Jensen and Josephine Edmondson. Collectively we have a ton of expertise, knowledge and love to share. There's still space if you're interested in deepening your practice, teaching, and having tools to enrich your life on and off the mat.
I'm also looking forward to teaching weekly classes at Ritual on Tuesday evenings. It's a new season, let's see how things come together this time around. I hope you've been transitioning with light and ease.
Love, Jennifer
